GARDENS OF HOPE The Gardens of Hope project is designed to link five communities in Lesotho, southern Africa, into a network of projects that share ideas, skills, resources and common purpose while supporting the educational needs of orphaned and vulnerable children.
The five communities are: Ha Makhata Phelisanong Disabled Group What links the groups together is that they are addressing HIV-AIDS, education, land rehabilitation, sustainable economic development, and food security in their communities. Through the construction and maintenance of tree nurseries and greenhouses at these five communities, the Gardens of Hope project assists in the production of tree, vegetable, medicinal herb and fruit seedlings and crops. .
