The workshop is based on the material compiled for an exciting newly published education resource kit, Behind the Pandemic: Uncovering the Links between Social Inequity and HIV/AIDS.
The kit, a joint project of USC Canada, AIDS Vancouver and ICAD, aims to help Canadians better understand HIV/AIDS issues and the links between HIV/AIDS and social inequity and poverty. It can be used by AIDS service organizations, international development agencies and educational institutions, and adopts a “hands on” and participatory approach. The kit can be downloaded from the ICAD site . |
We are offering a training workshop for facilitators and activists, interested in learning more about the methodology and approach used. The morning will be spent reviewing the issues outlined in the kit, and the afternoon will focus on developing and facilitating actual presentations.
Space is limited, so register early!

This workshop is part of a national training tour funded by CIDA, and delivered by ICAD in partnership with local organizations and programs seeking to engage Canadians in HIV-related global issues.
